What you need
Steps
Decide whether to file with your own application or later.
Family applications filed at the same time as yours are decided at the same time.
Gather each family member's documents, and get foreign certificates apostilled or legalised and translated.
Each person has their own passport copy, proof of the link and insurance.
Download the family application form (MI-F) from the UGE page, fill it in and sign it.
Pay the fee online with modelo 790 código 038, point 7, for each family member, and keep each NRC payment reference.
You can pay by credit or debit card or Bizum, or print the form and pay at a bank.
Open the Ministry of Inclusion electronic office and choose the procedure for international mobility residence authorisations.
Sign in with your electronic certificate, or have an authorised representative file for you.
A representative needs a power registered through the Apodera electronic register.
Attach the signed form, the payment proof with the NRC and the documents for each family member, then submit.
Applications and later documents all go through the electronic office.
Watch the electronic office for requests to fix the file and answer within 10 days.
Done when: Each family member has a granted resolution (or the silence resolution) from UGE for their family residence authorisation.
What varies
Filing is electronic, so there is no office or province to choose. Which proof UGE accepts that a parent or an adult child depends on you, and how the income test works out for your household, are questions for the adviser who files for you. The guidance sheet on family documents is an older UGE page, so check the current requirements before you file.
