Non-lucrative visa income calculator

The non-lucrative residence visa asks you to show a monthly income set as a share of the IPREM, the public reference figure Spain uses for benefits. Say how many family members you support and the calculator does the sum.

Your income requirement

Between 0 and 10. Leave it at 0 if you apply alone.

You need to show €2,400 a month. For the first year, that is €28,800.

How it is worked out

The monthly amount is a share of the monthly IPREM, and the total is that monthly amount for the length of the permit you ask for. The first permit lasts one year, so the first-year total is twelve months of it.

Who counts as a family member

Article 61.3 of the same decree covers these family members:

  • your spouse, or your registered or stable partner
  • unmarried children under 18 of you or of your partner
  • adult children of you or of your partner who need support because of a disability or their health

Before you rely on it

These are the legal minimums at the date you apply. Your consulate decides which proof of income it accepts.
